God of Prompt — The Move List

Welcome back. Your browser just got a coworker. The new ChatGPT extension for Chrome can read the tabs you already have open and work in them in the background. Hot take: this kills the copy-paste era faster than any new model. Plus, Meta drops a frontier-class model you can run on two Macs.

Today: ChatGPT moves into your tabs, turn 20 open tabs into a research brief in 5 minutes, and this week's prompts to steal.

TODAY IN AI

1. 🧭 ChatGPT now sees every tab you have open: The updated Chrome extension pulls context from your open tabs, and ChatGPT can act in them in the background without taking over your screen. Research, form filling, spreadsheets, data entry. The catch: it asks permission before touching your history or moving files.
Why it matters: all that copying between tabs just became a one-line request.

2. 🖥️ Meta's 816B model fits on your desk (well, two desks): Muse Spark Open ships with downloadable weights: 816B parameters, 42B active, a 1M-token context window. Meta calls it the most capable US open-weight model to date. The catch: you need two M5 Ultra Mac Studios, or you rent it from OpenRouter, Groq or Together AI.
Why it matters: a top model that never sends your client files to anyone's cloud.

3. 🛒 Google built one cart for the whole internet: Universal Cart is live in the US: save products from any store into one cart, get pinged on price drops and restocks, check out with Google Pay. It watches 60+ billion product listings.
Why it matters: if your product feed is messy, Google's cart quietly sends shoppers to the competitor whose isn't.

FROM THE FRONTIER

An AI that clicks for you is only as safe as the tabs you leave open.

The speed side. ChatGPT in Chrome works inside logged-in sites: your CRM, your bank, your ad accounts. That is exactly where the busywork lives, and why teams will switch it on this week.

The risk side. The same access means one bad instruction, or one sneaky line on a web page, can send a form or a file you never meant to. OpenAI's answer is permission prompts, and people click "allow" on autopilot.

My call: one browser, two profiles

Use it, but give it a separate Chrome profile with only research and low-stakes tools logged in. Keep banking, payroll and ad accounts in a profile it cannot see. I would change my mind once agents log every action and let you undo it in one click.

IN THE KNOW

ChatGPT Sidebar: OpenAI says the full ChatGPT, with your whole chat history, now sits next to any site you open in Chrome. (674 likes)

Rival Applause: Mistral co-founder Guillaume Lample congratulated Meta on building the best open-weight model in the US. (192 likes)

TOOLBOX

🎬 Higgsfield: upload one product photo and get a scroll-stopping video ad with cinematic camera moves in about 5 minutes.

🎙️ ElevenLabs: turn a script into a natural voiceover for ads, demos or support lines without booking a studio.

🎭 Arcads: write the script, pick from 300+ AI actors, and get UGC-style ads to test without hiring creators.

TUTORIAL

How to turn 20 open tabs into a research brief in 5 minutes

1. Install or update the ChatGPT extension from the Chrome Web Store.

2. Open every article, report and competitor page on your topic, one per tab (20 is fine).

3. Open ChatGPT in the Chrome sidebar.

4. Paste the prompt below and name your topic and audience.

5. Ask for the sources it used at the end, then click two of them to spot-check.

Read all my open tabs about [topic]. Write a one-page brief for [audience]:
- the 5 most important facts, each with the tab it came from
- where the sources disagree
- 3 decisions I should make this week
Keep it under 400 words. Do not invent numbers that are not in the tabs.

🔑 God of Prompt

P.S. If ChatGPT can now read your customers' reviews in a tab, it can also turn their complaints into ads. This pain-point prompt writes the copy.
